With the new year approaching, a short note to thank those whose efforts make LIANS, in my opinion, and despite my personal bias, a top tier bar insurance program. This of course means the team, the Board of Directors and you, our insureds, who I thank for your trust and confidence in us, trust and confidence that we know is earned and we work to maintain. The fact is that it is rare for an insurer to be liked by most, if not all, of its insureds. Especially if you have to be insured by us.

2025 will be my ninth year in this role and there are still a few items on my 2017 to do list, one item in particular being quite aspirational. Which, if you think about it, is what new years are all about. Asking ourselves who we want to be and where we want to go and then using our best efforts to get there. I wish you success and happiness on your 2025 journeys.

And leave you with this:

If a person says they have worked hard but have not found success, don’t believe them. If a person says they have not exerted themself but have found success, don’t believe them. If a person says they gave it their all and found success, believe them.

With kindest regards to you and your families,
Lawrence Rubin
