In this article, we’ll provide an overview of what compassion fatigue is, learn who is most often affected by it, and what types of demanding professions often increase the risk/susceptibility to develop it. Compassion fatigue differs from feeling burnt out, and learning the difference between these symptoms can help create better self-awareness. We’ll also share some coping strategies and discuss how to prevent compassion fatigue.
